An all-outdoor, immersive learning experience in our open-air classroom of meadows, streams, ponds and forest trails.

In these expansive open-air classrooms, our students build connections to the land and each other throughout the year through a combination of story-based learning, multi-sensory exploration and age-appropriate social development. 

Available For the 2021-22 School Year

  • Kids Ages 3-5

  • 9:15 - 12:00 PM or 1:00 - 3:45 PM, Monday through Friday

  • Families may choose 2, 3 or 5 days per week

  • Marsh Sanctuary, Mt. Kisco and Brinton Brook Sanctuary, Croton on Hudson

 

Everyone is still required to bring a mask.

There will be some MASK ON activities still in our programs.

There will be other MASK OFF activities in our programs.

 

Vaccination records are required to be submitted in August.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Packing List Before the start of the program, we send an email to all participants with the packing list and arrival instructions.

 

Weather Safety We are excited to make the most of whatever weather nature brings us!  Class is held in all safe weather conditions.  Unsafe weather conditions include temps below 20F and above 95F, lighting, winds above 20 mph and air quality index above 150 (100 for preschool age programs). In the event that these dangerous conditions occur, registered participants will be notified via text and email the morning of the programs. We do not have permanent indoor spaces at either site in case of dangerous weather. If we cancel a class, you can receive a 100% credit or 50% refund for the cancelled class.  No refund or credit is issued for missed classes outside of those we cancel.
