Gedney Park:

Tuesdays or Thursdays 2:30 - 4:30p

Our Sessions:

Our Flex Pass options allow you to sign up for five visits at your own leisure, removing you from the confines of a weekly schedule. Flex Pass options roll over one season, so a Fall Pass would also be usable in the Winter season.

Locations

Brinton Brook Sanctuary dense woods give way to hidden creeks filled with frogs and turtles, with large stones and winding paths waiting to be discovered. There's no better way to round off your child's day than in the serenity of Croton's forests.

Marsh Sanctuary is the perfect combination of forest and field, creating perfect opportunities for education and adventure. The site is home to our garden that features a variety of plants, pollinators and various approaches to plant cultivation.

Gedney Park in spring and summer, the woods are cool and green; in fall, they blaze with color; and in winter, the snow-covered paths invite quiet exploration. Gedney’s natural beauty makes it a beloved destination for families, hikers, and nature lovers alike.

Whether you're signed up for a preschool  this Fall or simply want to introduce your child to nature play in a guided environment, our Forest PlayGroup is the perfect opportunity to get outside, playing and building a community with likeminded families. Our newest pre-k program is designed to supplement standard preschool options in Westchester, providing a natural footnote to the end of the school day.

This program is designed to work alongside UPK or other preschool options, but any child age 3-5 is welcome.

We are committed to providing safe, inclusive outdoor programs. Learn about our policies here!

We are so excited to work with the amazing folks at Gedney Park to offer a Playgroup program tailored towards the residents and ecology of New Castle. Students of the program will play games, do crafts, and learn amazing skills right in their own backyard.
